My ball striking has gone to hell over the last two years. Was a 5 hdcp now an 11. Last instructor had me trying to move off the ball more than in the past and now I think I am just in a bad place somewhere between two swings. – Trent’s issues are Wayne D. classics and I wouldn’t be surprised if his next video was 20 times better.

Online Students: Andrew Terry Part 2

As you will see right away in this video Andrew has an excellent swing that to the eye at full speed appears to need no adjusting. Especially good is his pivot motion, which uses the ground quite well and exhibits the upper/lower separation that everyone is looking for. My suggestions here are based on my own preferences for arm position in the setup and right arm action during the swing.

This is one of the stranger swings I’ve analyzed because the backswing is almost perfect. You would think that the rest of it would be cake; however, this case proves that nothing is automatic when it comes to hitting a golf ball. People ask me all the time “if I do this will it make that automatic”? I always answer “no”, nothing is guaranteed if you do the thing before it correctly”.
