Report on the 2015 Section Championship – Day 2

First day on the Blue (the US Open course played from 6950 yards) I hit 7 fairways and 10 greens, felt quite jumpy and didn’t really make anything (33 putts). The second day on the Gold Course from about 6850 (another really good track, cut more through the trees) I hit 7 fairways again but only 7 greens and had 28 putts.

The Power of Online Instruction

Conner was frustrated and considering walking away from the game. In desperation he and his father sent in some swings and after some online instruction he became the Oregon Amateur Champion instead. This year Conner has qualified for the US Amateur. We’ve never met in person and have only worked via the internet and phone.
