Watching Will’s swing the first thing I noticed even at full speed was the initial widening of his wrist angles in transition, a movement that has been called “casting” but with the newer anatomical descriptions is now “ulnar deviation” of the left wrist and “radial deviation” of the right wrist. Looking for a reason that this is happening I start at the beginning of his swing and suggest that he center his set up rather than start with more pressure on his left side.
