Lucas Herbert Swing Analysis: Strong and Athletic but Loose in Transition

Don’t get me wrong here when I say “loose in transition”: I normally use the term “catchy” or “whippy” to describe a swing that puts a large amount of stress on the handle in transition (Herbert is built like a fullback) while the wrists are allowed to bend as the club reaches the top and changes direction, and being a Hogan lover I have no problem with this type of action.
