Lesson of the Week: Justin Duffie Part 7

By Wayne | Videos: Lesson of the Week

Justin is back after a year and half hiatus from lessons. You may recall that Justin, through tons of hard work, changed his swing about as much as anyone I’ve ever worked with. Being a great athlete, however, has its downside, as Justin is extremely hard on himself, and when he hit a plateau that involved too many poor rounds along with his better play he just couldn’t take it anymore and stopped trying to mess with his swing.

Online Students: Austin Kendziorski Part 2

By Wayne | Videos: Online Students

I’ve been working with Austin for about a year and a half now and he has brought his stroke average playing for Marquette University down by almost 6 shots. He is a strong kid (121 mph clubhead speed and 180 ball speed) and is learning to control the ball better by improving his swing technique. His main struggle has been with the clubhead getting trapped behind his hands as he approaches impact, and in this lesson, you can see this issue clearly in his first batch of swings.

Online Students: John Kent

By Wayne | Videos: Online Students

John is the father of one of website member Mark Smith’s good friends, and Mark was nice enough to purchase an online lesson for him. Lesson of the Week: Peter Procops

By Wayne | Videos: Lesson of the Week

This is the latest in my ongoing sessions with Peter, a club professional from New York who visits me in Florida every winter to try to improve his game so he can be competitive in the club pro tournaments that are available to play in. Peter has real back issues, and when he found out that I had similar problems and had somewhat overcome them he was interested in hearing what I had to say. We hit it off nicely, and Pete’s swing has improved tremendously over time.

Improvement: Peter Procops, PGA Part 14

By Wayne | Improvement

Peter is a fellow PGA professional who played the South American tour (Tour De Las Americas) for 5 years and Golden Bear Tour (Mini Tour) 5 years 1997-2001. We’ve been following Peter as his swing progresses over a number of lessons and we continue with a composite of four short lessons. Peter is a talented player with a good swing and we’ve been working on the details to make it even better.
