I’ve known Brad for quite some time and have worked with him on and off for years, although we have never lasted more than a month or two at any one time. Brad is a studious swing guy, and has seen just about every teacher you could name. I asked him one time how many, and he said “I counted 65, and those were guys (and women) that I paid”. With his new job as lead announcer for Fox Brad has tried to keep up with all the new “teachers du jour” and it is fun to get his take on what is going on in the business as I don’t pay much attention to it. Anyway, I sent him a short email wishing him a happy new year, and at the end I said “oh, and by the way, I have figured out how to uncross your swing”. He replied that he was “all ears”, and I sent him a short vid showing how I got college player Austin Kendziorski uncrossed. He invited me up to Old Palm where he lives and practices, and despite the 40 mph winds directly in our face spent a good 3 hours hitting balls and filming. The last swing you will see in the video is the best I’ve ever seen Brad make, and I think you’ll agree that it is a stunningly different picture than the swing he sent to me just before we started to work. Brad, of course, is legendary, ranked as one of the greatest putters ever to play the game, and he is still in prime physical condition. There is no reason that, with better ball striking, he can’t be one of the best senior players on that tour.
