Michael was a scratch player up to the age of about 40, when due to family obligations had to stop playing for an extended period, a scenario that I am finding is fairly common: a good player taking time off then struggling upon returning to the game. I’m not sure about the level of Santiago’s game, but this swing has the potential to produce some excellent ball striking. It should be obvious to you from the beginning that the question here is what to do with the clubface. Tom’s continued progress is a testament to the efficacy of online lessons. This is his 5th go round, and the difference between his swing now and a year and a half ago is startling. Derek worked on his first online lesson for about 2 weeks before sending another set of swings, and the change is noticeable. When a student goes to see a teacher they are going to find out what that teacher prefers right away. In Jeff’s case I prefer the right arm to have space, or “carry”, in the first part of the swing, so that when the shaft is parallel to the ground the hands have moved away from the right leg by at least a few inches, if not more.
