There is not much to say about this one except you won’t see a better swing on the PGA Tour. Connor pretty much exemplifies what I prefer in a swing, with power and grace. I don’t see too many swings that I would not make any significant suggestions to improve, but this is one of them. At some point I will meet Connor and spend time with him, but all I would hope to do is to share my experience as a player. Much of the golfing experience when you are good and expect to do well each time you play is handling the disappointment when you don’t play up to your potential or your own standards. Part of my job is to help players understand that the only constructive way to think about failure is to have it inspire you to get better. When players dedicate themselves to growth and look at every day and every experience as an opportunity to learn and improve they enjoy the journey much more than those that allow the defeats to define them. I wish that I had that sort of Mindset when I was younger, and I will certainly do everything I can to convince players and parents that each tournament is not the end of the world.
Anyway, watch and enjoy a marvelous swing, and like I say in the video you are looking at proof that online lessons can help a golfer change for the better. To be sure, Connor had the makings of an excellent swing before he started with me on the website, but if you go back to his first lesson and his father’s correspondence you will note that Connor was frustrated and considering giving up playing competitively. I’m happy that I could keep that from happening.
