There is one thing for sure about analyzing a golf swing: if you ask a number of different people to comment about what is good and bad about the swing and ask them to come up with a way to make the swing better you will get a similar number of different answers. In Amar’s case I would imagine that the comments would be somewhat more similar, as his swing issues are a bit more obvious than some. He states in his email that he is a 9 handicap but feels that his swing does not measure up to the scores he shoots. One things that I have to speculate on is his grip, and my inability to analyze the way he places the club in his hands and then pressures the club is one of the main drawbacks to online lessons. In watching his wrist action, however, I can be fairly certain that his grip is causing at least some of the swing problems he exhibits. One of the good things about being a member of the website is that when I suggest that he work on his grip I can direct him to my instructional video which is far more detailed than I can go into in the limited time I have for the swing analysis.
