I did a good job of filming the progression of what I worked on with Jonathan so I think you will find this lesson interesting. The neat thing is how he responded to the analysis and incorporated my ideas almost immediately. Jonathan has an athletic, aggressive move but the fairly sizable lower body slide in the backswing was derailing any opportunity for him to get his upper and lower body to synch up, eventually causing him to back his head away from the ball and pull backwards at impact. As you will see as his swing progresses through the lesson he does a nice job of stabilizing his hips and loading his upper body slightly to the right, which makes everything look and function better, and with a little drilling on impact he was able to get his hands and arms into a much better approach and impact position. This is a major pivot adjustment but with someone as talented as Jonathan it was fairly easily accomplished and should lead to major improvement in his ball striking once he gets used to it.
