Jake is a member of my club and has not taken a lesson from me until this past week, although he has been playing there for a number of years. He told me that he hasn’t taken lessons at all for about 5 years, but has still managed to become a scratch golfer. He has become tired of his erratic play in competition, however, and finally bit the bullet and decided to try to fix some of the funkiness that he was aware of but unsure how to go about changing. You will see what I mean when you look at his impact and follow through, and you will also see that he is a talented young man by the amount of difference he produced at impact in the course of the lesson. If this one lesson is any indication he should be swinging much better in short order.
