Justin Rose Makes an Odd Looking Practice Swing

I was watching with curiosity the play at the recent Barclay’s championship where Justin Rose played excellent golf but lost after 3 putting the 18th hole from 20 feet. He repeatedly made rehearsal swings that had his hands dropping not just straight down but backwards, and did so without much leg movement. The move was pretty much exactly the opposite of what Tiger Woods was doing earlier in the year when he was rehearsing an exaggerated “hands out” move from the top, swing the club well left past impact and looking like he was trying to hit a big looping…
