After recovering from another surgery (back surgery in 2014, elbow surgery in 2016, and foot surgery in 2018), I am ready to try once again to get back the semblance of a game. My short game and putting are coming around nicely, and my irons are getting better, as you will see in the swings here. My big problem is still with the driver and the longer swings, which you will also see in the DTL swing. My main goal now is to continue to try to gain depth in my right hip and leg from P2 to P4 and increase my forearm rotation during the same period to keep the club from crossing the line at the top. My exit is way too far out to the right, and the problem is entirely pivot oriented. Truth is, it sucks getting old, but the only thing you can do is try to improve physically and keep fighting old habits. I know more now than I ever have, and it would be nice if I could experience some time where my body felt decent so I could execute the technique I now understand.
