We have seen Joey’s swing a couple of times before, and here you can see continuing progress with his left wrist action and shaft movement in transition. I have a good feeling about Joey’s ability to build his swing into a great one, as he has a nice build for the game and a tremendous amount of power without swinging out of his shoes. The bowing of the wrist and steepening of the shaft in transition has been a serious bug for Joey and if we can continue the progress made in this lesson it should lead to heightened success.…

Swing Analysis: Crossing the Line

Here I take two of my younger students who both cross the line at the top of the swing and show how I try to get them more on plane at the top. Both Joey and Zach are strong hitters who generate a lot of club speed, but both tend to lift their arms at the top and cross the line quite a bit.
