Webb utilizes quite a few of the swing techniques that I talk about in my teaching and on my website, but he also does quite a few things that differ from what I prefer. I will let you watch to video to find out what those things are, but one really interesting item in his swing that I just noticed is the movement of the right heel toward the target at the start of the downswing, part of a very interesting and quirky use of the pivot and the right leg and hip especially in the forward swing. As I suffer from right leg issues in my own swing (inability to create depth in the backswing due to age old back and leg problems) I am excited about seeing what this movement feels like and what it might do to help cure the all too common problem of “coming out of the box” in the downswing.
