Hey, just an update on a couple of guys I’ve been working with. This past weekend Lenny finished T-7th at the Web.com Tour Rex Hospital Open in Raleigh, NC. Ben had a nice finish as well coming in T-6th at the NGA Tour Cutter Creek Classic in Snow Hill, NC.

Hey Wayno,
Just wanted to let you know that I had my best finish on the NGA Tour so far. T6. Shot 71-68-70-68 (-11) and finished 3 shots back of the leaders. The game is coming along nicely and I’m working really hard to try to piece together everything we’ve worked on…especially with the short game and putting. The 30-90 yard shots have definitely improved already so far, and I’m feeling much more comfortable from these distances. I struggled, though, late in the tournament with pulling the trigger. I was taking more looks than usually and standing over the ball longer than my routine normally goes for. I think it might just be because all the mechanics of the short game and swing are so new, and I’m still battling trusting it under pressure. But when I do finally hit the ball, it usually turns out okay. I’ll just keep trying to battle through that. Off to West Virginia tomorrow to prepare for the Greenbrier pre-qualifier on Thursday.
