Trevor is a WEB.COM player who missed his card this year and doesn’t have status. I got a chance to play 9 holes with Trevor when I was out at Whisper Rock with Kevin Streelman. Trevor is a good player that hits the ball a long way with a tendency to miss-hit a little left. I offered to take a look at his swing if he wanted and Trevor was interested so we hooked up for a lesson. This lesson really shows the subtleties of good players with good swings and at regular speed you’re not going to find much wrong with it. When we slow the swing down it’s apparent that there is no right-load in Trevor’s swing. There is also a significant move to the left and Trevor’s hands actually get back to the ball with the shaft above parallel causing a bit to much forward lean at impact. Trevor makes a nice move to the left but with late hands and him hanging left in the backswing he ends up with a problem usually only seen with players as good as Trevor, too much forward shaft lean. Once Trevor right loaded a bit and opened the face more his ball hung straight or dropped to the right instead of floating left., which made Trevor very happy.
