Josh has qualified for the Latin American Tour, and in this video, you can see why. His swing has evolved very nicely until even I have a hard time finding flaws. He has been complaining about feeling a bit “flippy” through impact, although for most golfers his release could only be called “stable”. We can see that he re-cocks quickly in his follow through, and while you may be thinking “yeah, but the ball is already gone”, I have to listen to the player describe what he is feeling and see if there is a way to address anything he finds annoying. Here I suggest the right arm extend further into the follow-through, and I give Josh a simple drill to have him get the feel. Then, like very few golfers except the best can do, he puts the idea into a full swing immediately. Playing golf for a living is certainly a tough road to follow but Josh has all the tools to make that happen.
