Here is another one of those swings where you might be saying “what in the world is wrong with this guy? Why isn’t he out there winning money?” In other words, it looks very good both at regular speed and in slow motion. However, there are things that we have worked on to get it to this point, which is why I use swings from the first face to face lesson I gave Jason to compare to his latest swings. There is plenty to watch here so I won’t go over it in detail, but suffice it to say that Jason is a high level player who had the tendency to pull with his arms to start the downswing and to get the club stuck behind him, and everything we have worked on has focused on simplifying his release action by getting him to use his pivot better so that he can approach impact from a better place. What Jason needs to do now is to get out and play in some tournaments so he can really see what he needs to do to compete at the highest level.
