Allie did a nice job getting into a more athletic posture and increasing her tempo after the first lesson, and now needs to concentrate on continuing to try to soften the arms at address, especially the right arm. When the right arm is tight and stiffens as the takeaway starts with the elbow twisting inward, the left arm has nowhere to go except out and around, which is why Allie’s hands still move away from her body immediately after the swing initiates. This sets up a pattern in which the upper left arm disconnects from the chest, and since Allie is very thin this allows the right arm to swing back well behind her at the top. She makes an awesome move to lag the club in the downswing, but with her right arm so far behind her at the top it is hard to synchronize the arms with the body. Her goal would be to soften the arms at address as I prescribed in the first lesson, start the swing by turning the entire upper body and bringing the arms and hands back more inwardly, then feeling like her armpits are more closed up as she gets to the top while trying to keep the upper right arm more in front of her. That sounds like a lot of stuff, and it will take some time to rework the backswing, but her downswing move is so good that it will be greatly beneficial to set everything up with a nice, simple backswing that doesn’t require a lot of shifting around to take advantage of the lag she produces in transition.
As for the forward swing, I think that there will be two areas of focus, one being the general shape of the swing (she likes to swing in to out with everything releasing to the right or straight at the target) with the understanding that the swing needs to arc around to the left immediately after impact, and the other being the delivery of the club to the ball with the shaft leaning forward on iron shots.
