This lesson has enough complexity that I will not try to summarize it in a few paragraphs. You’re going to watch it anyway, but one thing you will notice right away is that Adam’s iron swing returns the club to the shaft plane on the approach and at impact and follow through perfectly. If you thought that was the Holy Grail and that it would guarantee that you would flush the ball every time the rest of the video will show that there is a ton more stuff to be reckoned with here. The main focus here is on Adam’s pivot, which tends to hang left, and his hand movement from the top, which, as usual in swings I receive for online help, move more downward than out toward the ball. These items that I pick at with the iron swing really come into play with the driver, and it is apparent that he is going to have problems getting the face on the ball consistently when his body is so out of position.
