Here is another video that showcases how quickly talented young players can incorporate change when the instruction is limited to no more than a couple of things and those things are simple in nature. Angelina and Valentina are 10 and 9 years old and are already highly accomplished competitive junior golfers. Their father, Ralph, met a good friend of mine (I have taught his 30- year -old daughter since she was 12) who suggested he might bring them down from Palm Beach for a look while I was still in Boca. I had a half hour with each and after watching them hit a few I came up with one thing for Valentina to try, and two things for Angelina. As you will see they were able to make the change almost immediately (Valentina needed to get her chin up and out of her chest to free up her turn, and Angelina needed to open the clubface more in the takeaway and backswing to get the club shaft more on plane), and the simple changes made both of their swings much better overall. I would love to be able to work with these two again. They certainly have bright futures ahead of them.
