P1= address
P2= shaft parallel to the ground in the takeaway
P3= left arm parallel in the backswing
P4= the top of the swing (the last point in time before the clubhead changes direction)
P5= left arm parallel in the forward swing
P6= shaft parallel to the ground in the forward swing
P7= impact
P8= shaft parallel to the ground in the follow through
P9= finish
You can see how much time and energy is saved by using the P system when writing about the swing, and you can also describe intermediate positions by using decimals (P 4.5 for example).
