Lydia was the top rated women’s amateur for 2 ½ years, from the age of 14 to 16. She turned pro and after playing in only 23 events she was ranked 5th in the world. She moved to number 1 when she was only 17, and has been there ever since, finishing 1st, 1st, and 2nd in the last 3 women’s majors.
